I’ve only been on Fediverse platforms since January, but I like it so far. I’m on Mastodon(mstdn.plus) and PieFed.zip.

Good for you. Not everyone does that, nor had the ability to do that. Which is why alot of people are on their phones. The OP is feeling bad about being on his phone, which he shouldn’t feel bad about because everyone is on their phones.

So what?? Everyone is on their phones all the time. It’s hard not to be. It’s not like we can take physical books everywhere we go.

As people become more familiar with the Fediverse, I think more people will navigate here. However, the fediverse had to meet the need by being welcoming and easier to understand for normal people.

Just finished reading “Such A Fun Age” by Kiley Reid. Spent the night watching the NY Knicks beat the Lakers and then finished watching the 2026 Grammys telecast.
