You did the right thing, the person was angry with no real outlet for it, so their brain found someone to blame to release that tension. They were not thinking rationally and attempts to argue would have been stonewalled and probably would have escalated things.
This is not a justification for their behaviour, it was despicable and wrong. More so my opinion of why anything other than what you did was correct.

I have the same question. I game, write code, browse the internet and all sorts on Bazzite. (I actually moved from Pop to Bazzite because I couldn’t get my storage hdd to mount and stay that way on Pop (I am a Linux n00b, in case that wasn’t obvious. ))
CEOs are obliged to act in the best interests of the company (as opposed to shareholders, which I stated previously). 99.99% of the time, that means increase market share, revenue and margins while cutting costs as close to the bone as possible.

It’s not a dig against Nvidia, imo. All companies do this if they can. AMD siphoned off chips for enterprise from both cpu and gpu, because the premiums you can charge are so much higher.

Don’t suffer fools, I guess. Life is too short to put up with people who don’t, won’t or can’t respect you. You don’t have to make it a big deal, in fact that might be the wrong move if you’re dealing with a narcissist. Instead become uninteresting when interacting with them. The Grey Rock technique.
