Work Reform@lemmy.world•White House website publishes a page on "socialism". They think it will scare people to hear that if we tax 1000 billionaires, $355,000 worth of benefits will be distributed to 150,000,000 households.
5·5 days agoThey’re also claiming that 90% of the proposal is Medicare for All. So everything else in the list would be $3550 per household per year if their claim of $35500 per year is to be believed.
I don’t know that they’re making the argument they think they’re making

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How did Google win the search engine war?
10·5 days agoThis guy got it. Google was legitimately better at search. Google ads used to be viewed as being much less obnoxious than other ads. And Gmail was offering so much space people thought it was an April Fools joke for weeks

47·5 days agoWait, by their own math we can get most of the list with the 5% wealth tax? Fucking sold. It would cover everything but Medicare for all and student debt. Give me that 32 hour work week.

Work Reform@lemmy.world•The reason the right are so anti Mamdani is obvious: they don’t want you to see what your tax dollars being put to work the right way would actually look like. Then everyone would want it everywhere.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Can you open up an unmanned store in the US and will it stay in business or close down?
3·16 days agoIt wasn’t closed due to theft afaik. It used a bunch of computers to charge you for things you left with, replacing a cashier
Then pick a license that has that restriction
Job hop every 2 to 5 years unless you don’t think you could do much better.

I’m quite capable of judging my own general satisfaction in a vacuum. I strongly suspect this matters a lot less than some people think - some men are just overly obsessed with their penises.
Sounds like you have an inferiority complex or something. It does everything I need it to and I’m completely satisfied with it. You feeling like I should not be satisfied with my penis sounds like a you problem.
I was circumcised and my penis seems to work just fine. I do have to say that I couldn’t care much less about the topic.
Yes, ironic that I clicked this thread at all, but I’m bored.

Produce less dirty laundry. Depending on what you do for a living, and the climate, some clothes can be worn more than once. The main ones that come to mind are pants, but your discretion on other items. Just don’t be gross and stinky
