3·23 days agointo the politics of the war in Gaza.
Well since it’s not a war, but a genocide, the choice should be simple. You are either against genocide or you are an evil monster. Can’t have a middle ground or “both sides” position about it.

Global News@lemmy.zip•Denmark welcomes deal with US over Greenland after Trump annexation threatsEnglish
4·23 days agoThe United States, Denmark and Greenland said late on Friday they had entered into an agreement for the US to develop a significant military presence on Greenland, while prohibiting US adversaries from building their own bases on the island.
Literally identical terms to the previous treaty. Idiocracy. All at the same time as Bering Strait the real soft spot that any US adversary are likely to use remains unprotected…

It’s not surprising that Italian fascists happily comply with US fascists.
That said it would probably be the same case for anywhere in the EU at the moment as they are still 100% dependent on US banking infrastructure so not complying would mean you are locked out of all US dollar denominated trade. And with how antagonistic EU has been towards countries that have alternative banking structures they would basically be cooked.

181·2 months agoFrom Nitter Matrix chat (quote formatted by me for Markdown parsing):
basically, it demands that I:
- Permanently take down nitter.net and the GitHub repository, and delete all “X Data” in both
- Stop all use of the “Twitter” and “X” marks
- Cease all access to X data, including copies
- Delete all X account credentials and session tokens 5. Confirm compliance in writing within three business days
The claims asserted are breach of X’s Terms of Service, Developer Agreement and Developer Policy; the Texas Harmful Access by Computer Act; and the Lanham Act. It threatens litigation against me personally. X states it has also sent notice to GitHub and to my domain registrar.

The final deal will confirm the permanent termination of the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon and other provisions of this paragraph.

It’s not strictly callapasing, but it’s pretty strained. The only jobs available are those that sustain the war industry and the rest of the workers are fucked per Russia’s own central bank data.
