Getting a bunch of questions at once is kind of annoying cus it requires more typing. Id use csv (6,3,7p), but then thatll just require explaining!

3·2 days agoYes, pretty well. Qwen 3.8 can be run on one 3090 at Q4. Q8 runs on my computer with 48g of vram. They can do 128k to 256k context
It was really hard to use ie at the time. I worked at lockheed making a javascript repair sim, and it took 3 minutes to load in IE vs 10 secobds in chrome

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Happier to use spices on tofu, beans, soy curls, and even sometimes the dreaded processed plant-based mock-meats (when they go on sale).
1·4 days agoTheres another recipe i have for hunan beef. Involves vinegar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, taco sauce, honey, beef stock and corn starch for the sauce. It tastes amazing.
Pain to make though

Climate@slrpnk.net•US apartment buildings have tipped toward heat pumps | The climate-friendly appliances are becoming the norm among American home builders. Here are the factors driving the shift.1·26 days agoMy other favorite thing was talking to this one hvac company that only did x brand heat pumps(dont remember), but could not provide performance specs on them. The company couldnt either. Aside from “this one is really quiet!”
So i went with carrier, which had perfornance specs for all their equipment, at multiple different ambient and desired temps.

It is a good tool for coding. I could complain about data mining issues with non local stuff like claude… But what really bothers me is how some programmers dont even check its output. For work they get PAID to do. Im not even talking about not checking the code. They dont even check the product to see if it works or not. I have had 2 cases of this on freelance contracts so far.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What have you completely stopped buying because the price has gotten ridiculus?
1·1 month agoA lot of my grocery stores have pizza dough ready to go thats about $2.50 and can be frozen. So if you buy your ingredients and a pizza stone, you can have some REALLY good pizza any time.
I like to put the sauce on, then toast the crust for about 4-5mins before putting the rest on. Keeps the crust crispy.
Also, a dough ball isnt as hard to fit in the fridge.

Who the hell types that much in a text message?
