Right? I agree with this #lemming. They don’t care about you, just profit. This is the reason I prefer open platforms like @Mastodon@lemmy and @peertube . They at least care for user privacy and freedom, big tech just doesn’t give any shits. “Profit all the way” they say.
I’m still yet to understand how that federation between Lemmy and Mastodon works because I don’t seem able to follow stuff from Mastodon on Lemmy and comment…
It’s one-way. Mastodon users can post in lemmy communities and follow lemmy communities/users, but there’s no way to view mastodon posts from lemmy (unless they’re posted to a lemmy community)
