minus-squareMrSebSin@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·27 days ago100% this. His movies are unwatchable at this point. I got through maybe half of Tenet and just gave up. Was loving the story but having to use subtitles and turn the volume up and down constantly, I just gave up.
minus-squarepeopleproblems@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·27 days agoWhich is a damn shame because the dialogue in Tenet is amazing. I love that movie. “I ordered my hot sauce an hour ago.” “Lying is the Standard Operational Procedure.” “I realized I wasn’t working for you. We’ve both been working for me. I’m the Protagonist.” Sator: “This is where our worlds collide. How would you like to die?” The Protagonist: “Old.” Sator: “You chose the wrong profession.” The Protagonist: “You wanna crash a plane?” Neil: “Well, not from the air. Don’t be so dramatic.” The Protagonist: “Well, how big a plane?” Neil: “That part is a little dramatic.” The Protagonist: “I’ll manage. You British don’t have a monopoly on snobbery, you know.” Sir Michael Crosby: “Well, not a monopoly. More of a controlling interest.”
