I played 2024 NYE resolutions on easy mode this year, and with 9 hours to spare I actually fully achieved the ONE (1) resolution that I set out to accomplish 366 days ago lets-fucking-go

Over the years I’ve written a lot of songs and released a few albums, but how to actually play them has sort of faded into obscurity. I have a song book where I always write all my chords and tabs down, but it’s messy as fuck and oftentimes sort of like interpreting hieroglyphics from times long since passed. That coupled with the fact that I was usually stoned off my rocker when writing them down, and sometimes even forgot to include what fucking guitar tuning the songs were even written in (I use some unorthodox tunings, to say the least).

So, my goal was to go through each one of my albums and reverse engineer my old tunes, document and write down how to fucking play them. I used TuxGuitar, a free & open source guitar tab / sheet music program. It’s not great software, but it’s easy to use, good enough and it works. Just now, I plugged in the final chord from the final song from the last album that I released, and then cried a little because I was so happy.

Sadly, I cannot share my tunes with all of you as I would be doxxing myself kitty-cri-potato but if I could I’m sure at least some of you would dig them.

🇵🇸 Free Palestine, happy New Years hexbears, I love you all, thanks for being such a great community. palestine-heart
