I thiiiink she’s good? For context, my cat was eight years old when I found her living outside, and it’s been a rough transition to being an indoor cat. I’ve catified the apartment as much as legally possible, and she gets plenty of attention when I’m home, but I’m not home for half the day, and she pretty much always cries at the door.
I set a rule for myself, no gym after work. If I can’t make it to the gym in the morning, no gym for me.
I think it’s helped her because I’m home at close to the same time every day, and I get to take her out in her harness during the daylight. (She prefers night but I don’t last as long because it’s freezing and the neighbors probably think I’m a creep.)
She’s still fussy but she seems a lot less stressed the past couple days. She even slept through the night beside me without waking up to yowl and tear up the carpet at 3am 🥰
