It happened because of the 40 years of failure of the democratic party in their ambivalence to the willing efforts of the republican party to destroy democracy. They will fail us in the defense of democracy. All that continues not to demand a fundamental change are the problem.

All I see is a paragraph of brocialist math about how Dobbs is the fault of the people who would have stopped it because they didn’t pander to your revolution fetish enough, which they mostly didn’t do because fuckers like you didn’t even bother to turn out in the primary for the candidates who would have been open to that!

If you had voted, Bernie would have been nominated, but you didn’t because “muh rigged system.”

Consistently our present cast of problems trace back to some point where people like you turned their noses up at just fucking voting.

Bush presidency, y’all flocked to Nader despite his campaign being funded by the Republicans, Republican Revolution, y’all didn’t support the party that at the time was actively trying to set up socialized healthcare, Reagan, y’all didn’t feel excited enough about the greenest president we had until now, Wilson, y’all voted for Debbs and let the worst foreign policy president in American history, yes even worse than Nixon, win the office on 40% of the popular vote.

You can always count on the white self righteous brocialists to go hand in hand with the fascists in letting the fascists at everyone else to “teach them a lesson” for not marching enough to the brocialists’ tune.

Y’all are the white moderates MLK had had the right amount of. All the words, none of the will to even do the barest minimum of the work of actually being an ally to the suffering of the oppressed in this country.

You’ll post online you’ll go to protests you’ll maybe even write a politician if you want to feel real good about yourself but heaven forbid someone ask you to do the Herculean task of standing in line and checking some boxes, that’s just expecting too much of your revolutionary self.

One day I’ll die after a lifetime of having done the actual work, and my last words will be to curse that I had to do so much of it thanks to the apathetic collaborationists who let it pile up because one act to help wouldn’t immediately clean up the whole mess.

My children will grow up in a worse world for your refusal to do the work, and they’ll grow up knowing you handed them that world because doing anything to fix it was too much to ask of you.

The trans kids out in Texas are going to continue to suffer under your allyship, and one day they’ll see you kvetching about how it was their fault because they didn’t suck your dick about student loans enough.

Some woman is about to die from a botched coathanger abortion, and I’m sure her last thoughts will be so sympathetic to how you could have helped prevent this timeline, but you just needed to feel like you were voting for someone.

Murder cops are getting off scot free but I’m sure Black and Latine folks really understand that you just couldn’t bring yourself to support the person who’d have continued accountability programs that were curbing the violence because she got paid to talked to some bankers one time.

Palestinians here at home are experiencing discrimination at an all time high but you’re willing to let the guy who made our attackers feel safe calling us towelhead and terrorist back into office because the alternative is a guy who isn’t suddenly reversing decades of foreign policy and throwing our credibility as a mediator out the window which he’s used to so far negotiate hostage swaps that see more Palestinians released than Israelis.

You’re not our ally, you’re a wannabe who has to be shamed like a fucking child to do even the smallest amount to even fucking pretend you ever gave a shit about anyone but yourself.

Local minimums exist, people will be hurt in moving to a system that supports neither nazis or genocide. The irony is you keep playing this game of “harm reduction” and it will keep causing more harm in the end.

The system wasn’t rigged, Bernie’s “base” couldn’t be assed to turn out.

His support underperformed the share of millennials and Zoomers that were in the voting pool by then, nevermind how much they could have dominated with boomers leaning so much more to the Republicans.

Bernie lost because his supporters want all the praise of being revolutionary without doing any of the work of fermenting a revolution.

wrong. white moderates are who Obama tried to woo by choosing the architect of the crime Bill as his running mate.

You mean people who voted and put the first black man into the white house? They did more for civil rights than you are tryna justify why letting Caligula Jackson win is fine and dandy.
