Does it weird anyone else out how “centrists” or “moderates” or whatever they want to call themselves need to bash leftists when nobody was even talking about leftists? It feels like an op.

Is this “person” I’m replying to living in the same universe as we are? If this feels like valid criticism to anyone, please go touch some grass and talk to your therapist about it.

Sure. I also like the implication that you have to vote for any educated black woman because she’s a black woman.

I voted for her because a shitlib is technically better than a fascist but as long as liberals think identity is policy they’re going to lose.

            gestures at American history

I’m neither sure rhat I’m following you or that you understood the person above you, but American proclivities are well known. If we’re talking about “the left”, I’d be interested in any actual information about whether “the left” did vote for Harris or not, rather than Democrats assuming that anyone critical of them must not have voted.

Any vaguely political post gets hit by corpo-propaganda bots even on Lemmy. That’s why they sound like they have no idea what’s going on.

Isn’t it weird that anyone who disagrees even slightly with you is a “centrist” or worse?

I’m far more left than you are, im merely pointing out that the AMERICAN left is fucked and has become toxic. So no im not living in the same universe as you, the rest of us outside of the U.S are watching the American left in dismay as it becomes a toxic monster (after all its America, it was bound to happen, it’s in the culture) nobody is good enough to be an ally, nobody is left enough, everyone even slightly right or left must be called names, etc. that’s the American left now. You’re inside of it so I’m not surprised you don’t see it

Gee, buddy. Do you really think “American Leftists won’t vote for a Black woman” is a “slight” disagreement? Anybody trying to sow division and discord is an op, whatever politics you profess to hold.

If you were a leftist, you might not be so blithe about substituting your insane guesses for my lived experience. You think you have a better understanding of my own politics than I do, while you’re telling me that I didn’t vote for Kamala because we are the same race. You’re goofy AF.
