I have noticed that over the last 20 years or so, the idea of the police giving warnings (“you’re going slightly faster than the speed limit, but I don’t want to give you a ticket for 5kph over” sort of thing) just doesn’t happen. Is it just me, or are there still warnings given for minor traffic errors?
[Note: not serious infringements, and no I am not trying to get out of a fine I’ve been given. This is just a question.]
