      Apparently the perpetrators fled the scene before the police arrived. So your suggestion wasn’t an option in this case.

      And when the police do manage to find these people, I can think of a few other things the police might like to try before resorting to killing people.

        VIC police have the resources to respond faster and with force.

        The sooner some of these shits eat lead the sooner this behaviour ends.

          I disagree, the behavior is often a symptom, so if you were to simply shoot people like you are requesting… more people would fill the hole. Need to address culture, lack of community etc

            A very small number of people are involved. No one will be lining up to join them once a few of the perpetrators have been shot.

            They have had every chance to be respectable members of society and they have made their choice.

            Kill the idiots involved and the ‘culture’ of having machete fights in public spaces will quickly go extinct.

            Australian cops have a long history of shooting people wielding weapons. It has worked out for us so far.
