After seeing a post from a trans man, i wanted to say this.
so, about a year or so ago (probably a year), i came out as nonbinary. i definitely didn’t feel like “woman” or feminine terms suited me, but neither did “man” or masculine terms.
i came out to my dad and he said “you know i’ll support you no matter what, right? you’re my kid after all.”
he would call me “m” (from my old trans name “mikey”) and use they/them pronouns for me.
then i started to feel more feminine and my dad started talking about how nonsensical trans identities were, especially nonbinary.
one day, on the subject, he texted me saying that i was a girl and that the other identities were just BS.
