What do you think of an option to ban politics from the feed on account registration like this:
Effectively, when you click “no politics”, it should block the !news@lemmy.world, !politics@lemmy.world, !politicalmemes@lemmy.world, !pravda_news@news.abolish.capital communities and such for the newly registered user.
It would help clear up the feed and be more attractive to new users. Maybe this could even be the default view when you’re not logged in.
It blocks 4 communities. Hardly seems worth it. Would love one of each for sports and memes which would need something close to what feels like a hundred communities for each.
Needs a “politicalmemes” community, and a rule banning political memes from memes.
I mean im not 100% sure but there are like so many specific meme communities I gotta think there already is a politcal memes.
there already is a politicalmemes community, it’s the only politics community i haven’t banned because it’s the only one that actually manages to make me laugh :P
