    I’m sure YouTube had nothing to do with its rise in popularity and everyone knows it from *checks Wikipedia* Newgrounds.

      I’m not sure if you know this, but Newgrounds was THE place for this type of content and flash games at the time. YT has definitely made it more available to the masses, but it’s definitely not the reason it was as extremely popular when it was.

          So it’s a double negative situation and you aren’t aware of how big a deal Newgrounds was when this came out? Or was the sarcasm that you are aware of that? 😂

            Haha, honestly, I don’t even remember Newgrounds. I was pointing out that I still think it’s a YouTube classic since it’s been on there for almost its entire existence, but maybe I underestimated how popular Newgrounds was.

              It would be accurate to say that Newgrounds made it famous, YouTube just kept it accessible to newer audiences as Flash was killed off.
