Oh yeah, that’s why people think bugs are “chasing them”. Well, that’s my theory. I feel bad when I see a bug running to me for shade. I try to lead it to real shade by guiding it with the shadow from my hand or whatever is easiest for it to follow. I also rescue worms from concrete, or bugs from inside,. especially at work because I know people will just kill them :(

My sibling had a millipede for a while and I did hold it once at least once. But the feeling of it walking on my skin was so bizarre, but interesting and almost pleasing
