…and almost instantly received a text saying there’s no water for the next five hours.

So I’m just sitting here, feeling a bit sticky with sunscreen in my eyes. I really want to wash my face at least… another 4.5 hours to go.

I think I’ll just go out again, but I have no money to eat out… :s

    Oh yeah, I definitely have emergency water rations and I did think of using them but they’re all sealed tight as I put just boiled water into glass jars and juice bottles with those metal pop-up caps (jam jars and organic juice). I have three large plastic bottles I was neglecting to fill up which today I regretted because it wasn’t such dire straits that I wanted to pop open one of the jars/bottles but it would’ve been nice. Oh well, got more exercise in.

    On the topic of emergency water rations; I also keep a container of cat litter with me so if the water system is down for longer I can still use the toilet but with a garbage bag full of cat litter where the water would’ve been.

      You’re better prepared than we are, lol. That kitty litter thing is genius. I know of people who have DIY camping setup with that, but never thought about a trash bag in an empty toilet. Thanks for the tip, it’s a good one.
