These are obviously intended to be serving bowls and I can’t think of any whole fruit or vegetable that we would be put in a bowl for presentation. These gaps are so large that a grape would fall right through them.

I’m thinking closer to zucchini or acorn squash sized vegetables; but maybe a serving bowl would work too?

A whole zucchini or acorn squash would cause the bowl to be overcapacity. These things are only five or six inches in diameter.

Maybe it’s a fruit basket? Like for apples, oranges, bananas etc.?
Oh, the scale isn’t apparent from the photo. I was thinking these were more like 10 inches in diameter. In that case, yeah, no clue.
