It’s hard to see in the picture but this partridge pea has multiple branches constituting probably half or more of the plant overall that partly snapped and fell with only like a third of the contact remaining but the branches are very much green and even still flowering and fruiting despite that situation a week and a half later amidst the summer heat. (It broke in a storm after adding weight by vigorously re-flowering to be almost all yellow after the cloudless sulphur caterpillars ate up all the older blooms… not as many flowers anywhere on it now that the caterpillars came back in force though). Meanwhile my wife’s potted Mimosa pudica died after a single day of not adding water when we noticed some parts of had fungal growth and tried to cut back on moisture…
Which of the plants you enjoy are clinging vigorously to life? Or, which ones not so much.

Have an aloe plant from my late uncle that had to be stuck in a tote for about 3 months while moving across the country.
When we unpacked it, it was a husk of a plant and completely dried up. Potted it, watered it, and now it’s thriving again.
This English ivy, I tell ya. I’ll be yanking vines and sprouts until the end of time.
I got a single blueberry bush that’s lived for several years now, and its gotten to the verge of dying a few times but always springs back.
Its also never produced a single blueberry so far.
Totally normal for many varieties of blueberry to be self-incompatible, fwiw.
You usually want two or more different cultivars nearby for good results :).
Unfortunately, every other blueberry I’ve had has died. This one in particular has somehow survived where all others have not.
Outside? My chives, mints, roses, blackberries, and asparagus.
Inside? My elf ears and aloe seem to be nigh indestructible even after I’ve repeatedly overwatered them like a dumbass.
I thought I’d killed my Laurus Nobilis after it didn’t get water for basically the whole previous winter but it’s bounced back surprisingly well. It needs pruning and fertilizing but it still has green leaves!
I have been giving away lemon balm by the cubic foot all summer and I swear to you I have more now than when I started.
Sourgum.
Mustard.
Mint.
Ground cherries and tomatillos where they’re fenced away from the deer.
