If I set my standards higher I would definitely not be on lemmy. As shit as reddits leadership is and the amount of ads, and all the other problems, the content is much better than here.
Like no comparison. Even soccer, a sport with a billion fans, doesn’t have a decent community here. Let alone formula1, woodworking, chess and a number of other hobbies. Thank God I like Linux, at least that is active. But not even a ThinkPad community, and I’m sure half of the people here are on thinkpads…
Does it? You’d rather scroll Facebook slop than do something else?
Yes, at least there is something to discuss…
I’ll just create a bot that posts differents colors every 10 minutes and and we can discuss the colors.
More content is better right?
If the colors are in the top 100 of reddit, sure.
Reddit should not be your gauge for what content is worth consuming especially in 2026. Set your standards higher.

If you like soccer so much, why are you moving the goalposts? We’re talking about garbage posts like this here
I like this garbage post better than “nothing”. Because there is a lack of content.
PS: There are no goalposts in soccer, which you maybe would know if there was enough soccer content on lemmy
I have a sneaking suspicion that this is your bot.
I am willing to pretend I didn’t see this if you want to quickly Google that and subsquently come up with a new insult.
