So this happened in Portugal 😬

I found out only because I was searching for news about a piranha plant parade I saw on TV. In my search I saw that this shit happened and I’m fucking astounded! What the hell is happening?!

    What the hell is happening?!

    Failure in capitalist modes of production provoke economic crises which then elicit responses either from the left, through socialism and communism, or from the right, through fascism. This is, in my view, part of a global movement towards falling profits and decline of capitalism’s success.

      There is no connection, they’re separate events. When I was looking up what the parade was about I typed in “Portugal piranha plant parade” and got nothing. When I searched “Portugal Mario Parade” the fascist one came up due to the main organizer being named Mario. I added the image for people who were curious about the parade I was initially looking for info about.

          I didn’t realize Carnaval happened in the winter, I always thought it was a summer celebration! The more you know, I guess.

              Chalk that up to me being Canadian so whenever I see pictures of videos of carnival it looks like summer to me since February and March are snow filled up here.
