It is nothing short of murder for pay. The media companies are guaranteed to already be selling ad space for it and it will bring in billions. And- we should all know already that the nazi organization known as MAGA have already claimed their share of it.

This is close to what a friend of mine witnessed 30 years ago in Nigeria. Criminals were punished in the “War Against Indiscipline”. Televised determents, such as beatings and amputations the right hand for stealing. The first man to suffer this was Bube Jangebe - for stealing a cow. This is many steps back to Medieval times. Next will be the rack.
The Taliban converted soccer stadiums to execution arenas. The US paid for those stadiums. So in a way, it’s coming home.
