It’s still cheap but doubling the price without any warning is a dick move. I didn’t expect this from them.
15 days warning before renewal is a joke too.

You should go back to the basics of computer science if you don’t know the difference between lists, maps, sets, and tuples.

Apple controls the entire stack
It’s sad but the truth is: Apple and Microsoft can do this because they have a lot of money. Linux is not funded as it should be, and individual developers have neither the time nor the money to take care of a subject they know nothing about.
I have only found this page on the topic (https://www.linuxfoundation.org/about/inclusion-accessibility) but I’m pretty sure it’s a niche subject. You need time and money to develop all those features, you need testers and web sites to coordinate your development, and you need doctors and stuff to guide the developers. It’s hard for a reason.

I too would hide my face with such a shameful thumbnail.
Computer users are stupider every day. The internet was a mistake, or at least we should have required some kind of license to access it.

I hope she’ll get the $millions she deserve for “building durable businesses grounded in openness” whatever that means. It’s definitively not a bullshit job that will harm Firefox.

In a recent post on HackerNews, someone said that there is no burden of proof that it works. The purest form of “trust me bro.”
I was triggered at every panel, it’s unacceptable!
All these people do not create LLMs or anything. They sell books, ads, blog posts, hype… FOMO as I said, it’s so powerful that idiotic CEOs fell in the trap and forced it on their employees.
I have used some AI crap to optimize algorithms, but I would never used that for anything else. I strongly believe that AI is like Google. People were full of FOMO, selling it, writing books about search engines, when in reality, you could learn how to use it in a few hours.
OMG Google is so hard you have to spend months to make a proper query. Fuck no, you have to learn how to write a proper sentence. Same shit for AI. The problem is that AI is shit now. It may be useful in a few years, but not now.

In France they employ a lot of young people who believe they’ll have fun and will make a difference. Obviously most old developers I know avoid Ubisoft.

I’m pretty sure the awful formatting of the comment is here to trigger us.
Anyway, merge request rejected for that alone.
Same and I don’t understand the obsession with dark stuff. If you have a dark background, you need to work in the dark in order to see the small whitish pixels of text. If you have a light theme, you just need to turn on the light, which is pretty much most of the daytime when you’re supposed to work.
Dark modes fucks with my eyes, whereas light mode forces me to use natural light or properly adjust my environment. Also I have a wide range of light colors to work with as the background. Dark mode is stuck to dark background on light text (grey or white, that’s all).
Anyway, I’m prepared to die for having such a strange opinion.

uBlock Origin is another engine.

I confirm this. In France I pay 12€ for 200 GB of data, and I buy a second hand phone “refurbished” for a cheap price.

“Insert coin to continue”

Or not using Google products?
Rust meme I guess. You borrow through a reference, and references have the & symbol like C++.

It’s like grep but it’s killing us as a bonus.
