Nah, GTA V is not. As long as you stick to the singleplayer, not the shitty online

9·1 month agoIt’s trivial for you.
The average windows user has no idea what “Rufus” is, or how to enter the bios and change the boot priority

3·1 month agoI would not mind a higher price. As it stands the Meta Quest has no serious competition regardless of your budget. Paying a premium to have the peace of mind that Zuckerberg isn’t spying on what I do in private while using the headset would be a fine tradeoff. And potentially having access to the SteamVR library without needing to connect to a gaming pc would be the icing on the cake.

Yes, it’s happening with 1st till 4th Gen Pokémon games. If you want originals you have to be very careful nowadays, although some of the clones are functionally identical to the originals (but definitely not all of them), so for just playing them it really doesn’t matter.
You can also just straight up eat it. Yeah, you’ll get runny shits from eating excessive amounts of fiber, but that’s probably the first way it was eaten

7·1 month agoExactly. With PC VR headsets there is viable competition, but we desperately need real competition for Meta Quest headsets.
I bought a brother color laser printer for 20€ used once. It came with almost full (clone) toner cartridges and already had 73k pages on its print counter.
Today it has over 80k pages on its print counter and the toner that came with it is still not empty.
I occasionally need to open it to remove a stuck piece of paper, and the print quality is not the greatest because it desperately needs a replacement drum, but I’ll keep running it until I am no longer able to repair it

You really don’t want a bargain bin LED where the driver is just a half bridge rectifier and a resistor in series with the LED

Linux@lemmy.ml•Bazzite has seen a massive jolt in growth over the holiday season, surpassing 50k active users. The Fedora Atomic image has gained 38.8k users total in 2025 since it began counting in April 🥳
6·2 months agoI think you are the first person to ever have had issues with printers on Linux if you are surprised by them working on Bazzite. Printers are one of the things that almost always “just work” on Linux, and are only a driver headache on Windows
And AirVPN. They also have the most stable servers in my experience. With other providers I need to change the wireguard config I use for my qbittorrent docker every few months because they get painfully slow, with AirVPN the same server stays usable forever in my experience
TorGuard VPN also works somewhat fine in my experience, even if setting up port forwarding with custom wireguard config is a bit complicated there, but they frequently have insanely good sales, and if you buy a plan on sale you can renew it for the sale price after it ends, instead of having to renew for full price or having to wait for the next sale
I am not sure if I would trust either of these providers if I was doing something really illegal and trying to hide from the government \ law enforcement, but for something like torrenting they should provide more than enough protection against copyright notices

It’s pretty low effort as long as you clip one of their wings to make sure they don’t fly away
Sounds like the chickens were just severely overfed if they had excess food available for rats to steal. If you feed them only the right amount they need, they are going to kill and eat any rat attempting to steal their food without hesitation. They are predators after all
Yep, in Germany every train station for example is considered a high danger area where police are allowed to search you without a reason

5·2 months agoGreat for you, but most good private trackers will ban you if you aren’t connectable. If you’re only torrenting English stuff then public trackers are fine, or one’s with lax rules like IPT, but for many other languages private trackers are unavoidable.
It’s also just against the spirit of the P2P network to not accept connections from others, if your port isn’t forwarded then you can only seed to users who have their port forwarded

The higher file size limitations are pretty handy for sending videos and high res pictures in chat
