Public bathrooms in the US are largely nonexistent. If you need to go you usually have to go to a fast food place, gas station, etc and either buy something or hope they’re permissive about the public using their bathrooms. Sometimes malls can also be a good bet.

Whether they’re filthy depends on who owns and maintains them. I would use gas station bathrooms last, since they tend to be the dirtiest. Random business bathrooms are a crapshoot but may be very clean, and malls are in the middle.

Why do people keep trying to bring this back? I’m assuming you didn’t know, but it’s been homophobic slang since at least the 1960s. I feel like I went from not hearing it at all between the early 2010s and 2025 to suddenly hearing it a lot more.

High testosterone levels (I can only assume they’re not considering anything less than the maximum end of normal to be “healthy”) converts to estrogen because it’s more chemically stable. What is a normal level of testosterone varies from person to person; someone may feel fine at 400 ng/dL and someone else may feel like death at that level. And the person that feels fine at 400 may feel like shit at 1000, especially with the potential of added estrogen from high T. Hormones are complicated and have all kinds of weird downstream effects! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
