Any sport, doesn’t really matter. Periodically during the game more balls start getting added into the playing field to spice things up, a la pinball tables.

2 nights in a hotel in Sydney. Arrived at about 10pm straight from the airport. Unmanned entry to had to call someone from reception to come and give me the key despite arranging all this in advance.
Got in the room and the AC was broken so as a Brit arriving in Australia for the first time it was unbearably hot and the room stank of damp.
About the worst way to start jetlag recovery and I got out after the first night despite paying in advance.

I was working in a house this week that had a ~4 year kid in another room. They were on the mums phone watching YouTube shorts and I think I had an aneurysm listening to it. It was godawful and the attention span was so low they constantly flicked through so most didn’t even play for more than a second or two of incomprehensible gibberish before they’d flicked onto the next one.
I feel really sorry for anyone who has to grow up surrounded by this bombardment of shite.

Marathon was pretty innovative at the time. The fact that there was any form of plot at all was unique in the action and shooter genres. It was the first major release with free look and being able to aim up and down at all. Plus reloading weapons, dual wielding weapons, weapon models visible on the player in multiplayer, plus network voice chat pretty much all of which have become standard in shooters today.
And whatever this new Marathon is it bears exactly zero relation to the original. Innovative, original, single player experience vs derivitave, cut and paste multiplayer “live service” grift.
At least he died doing what he loved. Being in a Teams call about interdepartmental efficiencies.
