1 year agoOnly things that entertain us are things we care about. As the world’s sorrows and tragedies grow by the day, everything from climate change to mass shootings of toddlers, we’re numb. The one thing that helped is that it was rich people, we all (except republicans apparently) want to eat the rich, and these guys said sure we’ll just go drown, they’re pretty much allies. Gotta celebrate that.
It makes me wonder if we can create AIs that behave close enough to humans by adding an additional neurological baseline noise to the LLM training. Then throwing it in simulations to see whether social sciences might work. I’d be curious to see how true to life something like that would be as well.
