I know, I just tried to quote Key in that sketch saying “Huh?”, as if he hadn"t quite heard the question :)
Peele: “You said ‘bitch’ though.”
Key: “Hm?”
Peele: “You said ‘bitch’.”
Key: “Yeah.”
It happens a second time in that sketch with their roles swapped

Technology@lemmy.world•AI agents aren’t legally responsible for any harm that they cause, experts say. So who is?English
252·2 days agoI see a lot of oversimplifying analogies in the comments, but in my opinion none of them take into account that users of AI don’t know how it works or its risks, and some AI like Grok offers inherently problematic and potentially harmful/illegal functionality
That should keep me from falling asleep during service

1·4 days agoOkay, but I have some favorite shader packs from Minecraft that I would like to use. Are those built-in shaders rather basic or advanced?
I actually read this in the tune of the Spongebob Squarepants intro

3·6 days agoThat shortened headline phrasing is semantically ambiguous. With context it’s clear, but it can also be read as “Meta has caught paying nazis in order to post on Facebook”

I get your point, but what would be an alternative term for content or creators in general? One that encompasses all types of media. Maybe “artists” and “art”, but that doesn’t always fit, I guess

4·7 days agoThis reminds me of a deleted scene from The Incredibles (2004) in which Helen confronts a party guest who said that it’s a waste of potential to spend years caring for your children instead of working:
I generally agree, but those terms you prefer are specific about the type of media. I think “creator” and “content” are still the most neutral and catch-all terms, but they have been tarnished by commercialized platforms.
I usually avoid corporate stuff, but not always. What term do you prefer over “creator”?
