the cave generation would obviously need to be adapted, and the lasers might be too much if they can target dwarves

the design could be very interesting though. It could be floating in the same way that core stones do, tying this into the upcoming themes of rogue core, but I feel like it would just be a mix of the current core spawn event and the mobile rockpox event.

what if the reason it’s moving is because it grew out of the back of a large creature, say for example, an ebonite bulk detonator? now the first objective of immobilising it becomes more active. Maybe the legs have to be mined with power hits?

either, way, this is a fun idea to play with

Honestly if I’d see that I would just turn around. They can have this cavern. I’m not spending the next 3 hours on a single mission.

Now if the pay was adjusted, though…

I break it down by roles.What do I want this weapon to be for? Crowd control? Single target annihilation? Support? And then I go from there and tweak as I try it.

For example, I like to use the flamethrower when I’m playing with friends and we have to deal with big waves of fodder. To make it really good at that, I go for Sticky Flames so I can make barriers; I also maximize ammo capacity because I know I’m gonna be shooting this a lot, often preemptively, and high damage will be wasted on grunts anyway.

(granted, I would imagine that this is probably a common build for this weapon, but the logic still stands)

also, don’t be afraid to try the more quirky overclocks and try to make them work! IMO this helps with the creativity part

Pick Up Group. It comes from older MMOs, and it means any group that you randomly found in the game, as opposed to a friend that you had partied with beforehand.

A more modern word would be a rando

For driller: Sticky flames for sure, especially on swarmaggedon warnings

Unstable Containment Field is fun too, though hard to master

Also the shotgun effect on the goo cannon. Helps a lot with range.

For scout: Focused shot, even though it’s dangerous on higher haz

The no recoil one on the submachine gun

And yeah Special Powder of course

I like them! They’re a nice change of pace. Plus, it’s probably a good way to get some early training for Rogue Core.

Honestly, even the Stalker is pretty cool; it’s very satisfying to ping.

The one I hate is the sceptic spreader. This one is so dangerous.

I do love the music though. Makes me wish there was a 2D spinoff of DRG, maybe in a Metal Slug kind of way. That would be sick.

I think it’s just some lucky rolls. Personally I only got 1 this season so far.

The new ommoran phase is as follow:

The stone will target a random dwarf and encase them in a prison if they’re standing still, reducing the team’s dps for a bit. It also does heavy damage to the drilldozer if the dwarf is standing on it when it happens. This is to discourage camping on the drilldozer.

That’s all there is to it.

I like it, especially the season selector.

I only have one gripe with the Deep Scan mission, and that’s no fault of the game, but because I’m constantly looking straight up during the drillevator phase, I end up subconsciously slightly looking up IRL, and I have quite the crick in my neck now lmao.

I haven’t noticed any difference, but granted, I do use the cryo cannon less often.

That said, I did notice in the changelog a lot of damage type adjustments (though mostly for poison), so maybe there’s that too.

Judging by the scrollbar, I imagine it’s because of the way Boost hides what is not on screen.
