Miqo@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•A third party signed up 15,000 voters in Arizona. Democrats worry that’s enough for a Biden spoiler0·2 years agoNo Labels is an astroturf group that aims to divide the dem vote. It is NOT a legitimate option for those who want to advance progressive policies. They do not disclose their funding and investigations have found that a large donor was Harlan Crowe; the billionaire who bought InJustice Thomace.
Maybe someone should challenge dem leadership, but splitting the vote with a party backed by far-right billionaires isn’t the answer. It’s the fucking problem.

With one person holding the money in place, another other would slam the door.
“And then there’d still be all these notes sticking out and we’d sort of pull them out and put them in our pockets.”
You are willfully ignorant.

Thanks for informing me! From the few sources I read, those issues were debunked, exaggerated, or due to bad implementation. I want to add that I still don’t like the idea of Denuvo (or any other DRM) on digital media that I purchase, but that’s a different topic.
Miqo@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•PAYDAY 3 will use Denuvo anti-piracy technology in its PC versionEnglish1·2 years agoEdit: Seems the below statement was factually incorrect. Oops!
It’s a very obnoxious and heavy-handed approach to anti-piracy measures. It slows down games, kills framerates, gives users a whole host of other performance issues, and just makes the experience worse overall. It’s a product that doesn’t even seem to care to improve, because they make their money from publishers, not the people who buy and play the game. Many people hate it, and I believe it’s absolutely justified.
Yeah, but they’ve been burning them.
