I prefer having ballots not say what party the person is in. Then people actually have to know who they are voting for, not just blindly check a box beside R or D every time.

I call that kidnapping
I always wondered if instead of a two lane road every block you could have a city where it’s a four lane road every two blocks, with a single lane pedestrian/bicycle street alternating every other block there isn’t a road.
Personally I prefer a mixture of both. Touch screen for anything you don’t need to operate while driving and physical for everything else.
Android Auto navigation, car system/audio settings, clock and system management, etc should all be a touch screen so you aren’t navigating through turning knobs and pressing up and down buttons to go through various menus like your programming a microwave.
Knobs and dials and buttons for anything to do with audio volume, skip/reverse tracks, etc. and air conditioning.
My dad is the same with gas price. If gas is 156.9 cents a litre? Nah to him it’s 156 cents a litre
Then leave the advertisement alone. They still print the prices on tags at each store location.
Let them send out flyers saying item A is $20 *plus local taxes but when you get to the store the pricetag on the shelf should say $23.50 or whatever the markup ends up being at that location.
Go extreme minimalist. Buy practically nothing you can live without. Boycott everything. Politicians only listen to their gdp and stock numbers.
… Are those street legal vehicles? I want to say they aren’t but I don’t know enough about them.
Even if it were an exact clone I don’t think a single company should have a monopoly on the idea for almost 30 years. Pokemon red was released in 1996, 28 years ago. Why should they still be able to be the only company that releases pokemon-type games?
Man, maybe the Dems lost because the VPs are named Tim … They should really look into people with other names maybe.
I don’t even remember who Clinton chose for her vp
Democrats would prefer to lose than become more progressive because the rich and powerful still benefit from Republicans winning or Democrats winning as long as Democrats are still centre-right wing.
As soon as Democrats move left the elites start to lose so Democrats don’t.
Is it only through the skin? I could see it being useful for some sort of implanted medical device/monitoring system.
That way you have something subcutaneous but the power source is strapped to the outside of your body so you can remove for short periods of time to wash/recharge it.
Honestly I do expect this term to be worse than the first. He had to temper his behavior and choices because he wanted to be reflected. Now there isn’t any chance of reelection so he will be more likely to do drastic things with no regard for the consequences.
I’m Canadian and I’m considering moving to another continent. Trump is still too close for comfort.
People don’t vote because they see the system is rigged so the popular vote isn’t a great standard to go by either, it’s a product of the system as well
If you had 100% turnout the popular vote would be very different.
THIS is the moment where everyone should be creating 3rd party candidates and going to the streets to spread awareness for the next election.
Not 6 months before the election with trump as a possibility. Get out there and promote 3rd party now, when people are pissed at Democrats for throwing it all away for Israel and people are pissed the trump won.
Lots of countries are stupid, but not that many have >50% of their population be that incredibly stupid. Usually it’s closer to 20-30%. America takes the gold though.
Why not both?
We need to try and bankrupt any company that produces fax machines.
The industry will need to adapt once fax machines aren’t produced anymore.
