  • God damn, Thank you for putting that boneheaded lib in this place.

Western libs are all confidence and no intelligence. We are the most propagandized people on the planet, and most people are so uncomfortable with the word “propaganda” that they refuse to even acknowledge its existence.

At the beginning of this conflict, I was a western ib all the same and though I didn’t speak about it online, I supported Ukraine. It took a lot of keeping my mouth shut and listening, and learning history, and just not being so over confident, to finally come to the understanding that the West is causing this problem, not trying to solve it.

    Lame.ee is the fucking worst.

Thank you for being willing to speak out and being the voice of reason.

  • (Edit. To clarify, I actually liked the article for the most part. I just found some problems with his philosophy lower in the article.)

Okay, the guy goes pretty much full revisionist by the end of that article, but I think most of what he said is sound in terms of facts. His philosophy and political ideology is not exactly correct, though.

He tries to compare communism to fascism and says that communism failed because it ignored merchants. It all sounds like someone who read a couple of paragraphs of a description of what communism was by a western source, but never looked into it further (He has actually read a little more than that. He at least mentions Deng and quotes him as well. His arguments just smell revisionist.). I bet this person just believes that communism is authoritarian but without CEOs.

  • Sorry, you have to admit that we get a lot of trolls coming in like that. At any rate, that comment was on the edge of trolling or being serious, and I wasn’t sure. I assumed the worst. I’ll take my response down.

My more honest response is this: EIther one. I still think Cali won’t get it done before Vietnam will. It seems like costs always go up for no real reason, and negotiations are always a barrier, regardeless of location. Frankly with the hyperloop derailing HSR in california (Pun intended) so easily, I can see some other reason popping up, even for a realtively “easy” rail build.
