For your printer question, you should be able to boot off of a USB and test that there, I think.

Some Linux USB images don’t have everything installed (so the iso isn’t super large), but hopefully they should have the printer stuff installed.

The only times I’ve ever run into stuff not working were:

1. The GrapheneOS installer bc it uses web USB
2. Sites that decide Firefox isn’t good enough (glares at Pearson), though I just use a user agent switcher and suddenly the site works

I really like seeing foss passion projects made by one or two people because they tend to have passion behind them, and they’re made for something other than profit.

Fuck capitalism and fuck what it did (and does) to every art form.

I hate how programming has essentially been watered down into “getting results fast” for a lot of people (or, rather, corporations have convinced people to think of it that way)

I want to see more people put passion into their code, rather than just slapping stuff together.
