Usually, its thigh high socks but we’ll accept tights or leggings as well. Also yes, it is the law.

8·2 months agoBoth my favorite, longest used and current DE would be MATE. Currently using it on desktop with Debian and a laptop running Fedora. Super customizable and very speedy. Beyond that I really enjoy Gnome but haven’t used it in a bit.

2·7 months agoFar Cry 6. Its a pretty solid dumb shooter game with an okay story, lots of fun guns and tons of bs to get into.

1·8 months agoLooks great! How does Fedora Silverblue do with hardware with such low specs? Been trying to find a good replacement OS for a machine around that age and was considering going with FSB but was worried it would be too heavy on the system.

Linux Gaming@lemmy.ml•Anyone tried POP!_OS's new cosmic for gaming?English
4·9 months agoTried it awhile back. I primarily use either Gnome or MATE but I found Cosmic to be a solid setup as well. Worked well for all my games though I primarily play strategy titles (CK3, Vic3, EU5) so my experience is limited to those. The only thing that stuck out to me is that as far as I can tell Cosmic doesn’t have hdr support (been a minute since I last tried it so this may no longer be true).

Looks pretty interesting. Spent quite a bit playing After the End mod for Crusader Kings 3 so this seems like something that will scratch a similar itch. Definitely going to be keeping an eye on it.
