Honestly I prefer it, once you get used to it and maybe tweak one or two things to your preference, it just feels super natural and smooth.
Gotta mention The Thing (1982). Impeccable cinematography, sounds, colors, everything. Practical effects that are still unsettling today, and good old fashioned “humans are not enough and never will be” horror.
Imagine not knowing about the three shells?!
Additionally being bipedal means that as we run our breathing rate is separate from our gait. As four legged animals gallop the motion of their running expands and contracts their diaphragm, forcing them to breath at the same rate they run at.
Since they can’t sweat like us, or breath like us, they have to stop running and start panting in order to cool down.
While humans can just keep going, relentlessly, like the It Follows monster.
All of these have very real physical effects, and human life cannot exist without them.
