Somewhat longer than the games I’m used to, as a long FF 7 fan I quite enjoyed this new take on the series.

I’ll wait a bit before venturing into Rebirth though, as this chapter has been a drag sometimes and I don’t want to burnout l.

I’ve played it mostly on the Deck.

To better approach Pixelfed, we decided to follow the Pixelfed Glitch’s team’s way, so under the hood you’ll find Pixelfed Glitch 0.12.4+glitch.1.9.1 (see here the changelog: https://github.com/pixelfed-glitch/pixelfed/releases/tag/v0.12.4-glitch.1.9.1), a MariaDB database and a LetsEncrypt Self Signed certificate

@bisby@lemmy.world thank you, fortunately I was already aware of that and already bought the Rebirth episode for PC. What I was trying to say is that they quite stretched the story to make it last over several games. But it’s FF 7 so I’m game.

The only thing I can’t forgive them is not allowing the game to run in UWHQD resolution, but luckily I found a way to run in that resolution through SteamTinkerLauncher

I’ll post more screenshots on Pixelfed, properly CW’ed to avoid spoilers, because the game was a great journey with a simple but deep story.

And at the end of that journey, you’ll just be left with the credits rolling, your eyes watering up and nothing more to say except “Oh.”

I highly recommend playing this game.
