It’s a bandaid fix though. Abolishing capitalism so that we could focus on innovation without needing to monetise it in order to eat is a better idea.


Underfunded infrastructure isn’t going to improve as a result of less tax though.
Unless there is a deliberate attempt to make EVs pay a lower share of road maintenance costs as part of a plan to increase uptake, with that lost funding collected elsewhere, you’re just making roads worse by leaving the tax off.


Mouse and keyboard is superior to a controller in almost every aspect. There are probably some games or types of games where a controller is more responsive, but I doubt they are the majority. If you have a machine that already has a mouse and keyboard, the market for controllers then becomes restricted to that niche where it actually offers a benefit.
Change itself comes with a hefty price tag when dealing with decisions of this scale. Doesn’t surprise me that there’s a decent chunk of people voting “just leave it the fuck the alone”, regardless of whether that means leaving the EU, or staying out of it.
