Some good news - this is so on the nose that even the good liberal subscribers are not biting. Most upvoted comment atm:

“It’s a good day for world peace,” - how utterly grotesque. I sometimes wonder if Joe Biden genuinely has no idea he’s going to lose in November.

Holy shit, NYT deleted that top comment to control the narrative. I honestly didn’t think they’d be so bold. It’s gone. The new top comment is:

Good that we have funding for Ukraine. The funding for Israel should go to relief supplies for the people of Gaza and not the Israeli military.

They managed to sell the “Russia bad, Ukraine heroes of democracy” line so well, I wonder if they just are at a loss when it comes to the Palestine narrative. Like they expected everyone to fall in line [yet again] and support a genocide.

Honestly, part of me would have expected the same, though I suppose even libs can only handle so much overt lying.

Yes they did expected it to happen, every single time before Usians and usian bootlickers worldwide just lined up to follow US propaganda to the letter. Hell it still do work for everything else, but Isn’treal is just too blatantly genociding people to hide it.

True, they have gotten away with it every time before, including everytime this has been done to Palestine in the past. They probably were pretty confident they would be able to use the same playbook yet again and not get any attention.
