Despite mrs b’s lack of enthusiasm, and a little bit more lenience from her than I would like I’ve gotta say the bedtime routine seems to be working a lot better with the kid. That’s night 2 he’s gone down after 2 stories without it being a shit fight. And we’re only 3 days into the routine.

Throw a blanket over the doona. Easier to take that on or off as required.
Muscle memory is a heck of a thing hey. I got a coffee at the drive through, used my right hand to put it in the cup holder so used my left foot to go for the break, my brain recoiled cause I guess it was expecting a clutch to go all the way to the floor. Looked down at the gear selector and there was a 3 second delay (though it felt like an eternity) where my brain goes “P? D?! the fuck is this, what do I do?” before it finally clicks and go “oh. Select D you idiot”.
2 years we’ve had some form of auto car now, and for 10 months its been my primary daily driver.
I’ve been in an auto for 10 years. Some days I still push the clutch in at the roundabout near home.

Ted asked to have his face brushed and the rest of him brushed too. He likes it and I think he sees the need for it. Sadly he isn’t a low maintenance Neeb he’s a high maintenance Blue Himalayan, which explains his very cute face.

I am sold on BG3, thanks people. Unfortunately though, I went to buy the game and the payment was not going through. So I’ve decided to wait a while and then hopefully next time it will work. Delayed gratification for the win :)

I realised I haven’t had Vegemite in a long time. I’m ashamed to admit it, but it’s been about 1-2 years since I last had it. I remedied that with some Vegemite toast. I dont usually eat breakfast, but sometimes you just need that nice kick to start the day. And it’s useful because it’s actually got some food value, especially with wholemeal or high fibre bread. Unlike most cereals which are essentially just flavoured sugar

I only have sourdough on a fancy day when I get eggs Benny from a nice cafe. There’s one near be that does a bleeding Jane one or something like that. Basically just eggs Benedict, but they put sriracha in the eggs and over the top. Pretty good with a tall OJ!
It’s easy and cheap to make sourdough at home Baku, a few of us here do it. I’m sure we could set you up with some starter!
I’m not sure I quite have the brain (or consumption) capacity to make bread at home. I usually only eat bread a couple times a week, and wouldn’t eat sourdough enough to be worth it
my hair colour is growing out and I keep wondering what to do with it. Maybe recolour black and get a cut to even my long hair up. Make over later perhaps, the other seagoons keep saying colour it white and maybe get an accent colour. 🤷♀️

The warm sun streak ends tomorrow. Sigh, it was nice to feel like I was in a warm exotic location, being able to wear shorts without being cold, no heating required, did wonders for my mood.
We are still in August, it was always going to come to an end.
Gosh it was almost tropical today being down to ONE layer and short sleeves, no heating, window open… feet not feeling like ice blocks for once… Goldilocks weather.
The temps aren’t looking that bad over the next week! Aside from Sunday
