The chilling time before rolling out was a bit too long I think, the dough was a bit too hard initially. The embossed roller worked fairly well, but I could probably use some practice to get it a bit more even. I also played around with a bunch of different cutters so have a variety of biscuit shapes and sizes - I’ll pick the nicest looking to take to work tomorrow and the rest will be snacks for me.
I’m also taking advantage of the oven being hot to make pizza for dinner.

There’s an ice cream/lolly shop here called Cones & Candy and that is the most Melton thing ever. No pretence of it being anything but a blatant euphemism for recreational drugs. The Birdcage (the part of Melton the shop is) knows what it is, and it isn’t hiding it.
I went in there a few weeks back while waiting for my fish & chips and realised this is the kind of shit lollies my daughter and her friends like. Quickly backed out.
