Im curious what the immigration system was like 30-40 years ago with the commonwealth countries, you wouldnt believe the amount of people here in canada that came from the UK, NZ and Australia who seem to have been here for 30+ years. I would imagine whatever system people moved around in the commonwealth back then is good and now.

also canadian immigration is a joke, you could buy your way in for 10, 20 grand at a shitpot immigration consultant and then take a low skill job, if it was ever about having desireable skills, it stopped being that way about 10-15 years ago…
