It does, though. Hostages are one of the few ways Hamas can get Israel to release Palestinian hostages (also known as detainees) and get the blockade loosened. While it sucks that this is the current situation, with the status quo at hand the capture of civilians is absolutely justified. Otherwise thousands of Palestinians won’t be making it home again.
