Yes, in your settings. Some clients give you the option to block right from the home page with a drop down, iirc. This should be available in Lemmy-UI

yes. i blocked the triad of tankies and any extremist posts/and porn. you can go to settings>BLOCKS(YOU CAN block communities, people, instances)
I know about hexbear and .ml, but what’s the third tankie instance?

i always forget about grad, we encounter .ml and hexbear the most if your not blocking them. .ml users do make appearances on occasion in other posts.
In the Voyager app it’s under Settings > Filters & Blocks > Blocked Instances.
