To add to this point, kids and especially babies are dumb as fuck. They literally will try to do shit that will fucking kill them. You cant turn your head for a second without them trying to crawl out a window or lick the terminals of a car battery. Id panick if I stopped to play with baby in crib with charger in hand that I left in reach of baby when I left to take a quick piss only to come back to a scene where the baby got the cable wrapped around its blanket and neck and couldnt get it undone in time or knew cpr to save the baby.
