    This is awful. People with hepatitis suffer immensely. Any competent person at the CDC must be crying at their seat after this incredibly idiotic decision.

    oh this is exactly what’s wrong with our vaccine politics - evidence-based decisions being replaced by ideology and fear-mongering I think

    The argument MAHA people make is that these vaccines are not mandatory in Europe, with the exception of Bulgaria(if I remember right), so why does the US require it?

    I am not an infectious diseases specialist, nor a public health person, but I suspect that has something to do with socialized medicine control and ability to contain outbreaks much easier in smaller countries
