Decisions are generally put to a vote in their governance comm, so they’re not going to suddenly block an entire community although it has been talked about before.
As for the views of the “core” team, they’re diverse some are more supportive of “AES” places like China others aren’t. db0 their admin is probably the most likely to dislike the tankie side of things.
There’s also some cultural differences between the tankie triad. I’d personally put Hexxers above ml and graders, because while they can be terminally online trolls they’re the most open to leftists who fall outside of the niche of Marxist-Leninism and their origin is split off from a Reddit community.

I would argue that Hexbear users aren’t “open” to anything except arguing. It’s like a honeypot trap for humans - it only looks engaging until you get into it and realize that facts don’t matter so much as the appearance of a dunk.

People and groups may label themselves or get labeled one way or another, I only care about what they do and the way they do things. It’s not just that it is hosted there, it’s that this particular admin is active in the community and super passionate about constantly browbeating “shitlibs” which in his cosmology is most of the instances on Lemmy.
