Thinking of and listening to Hamlet again and this came to mind

“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans

And yet the ghost asks Hamlet to avenge him against the king.

This is not a ghost that was a good Christian , maybe it isn’t even Hamlet’s father.

And how is it Hamlet wasn’t made king after his father’s death?
