    Well it wouldn’t be like one guy alone, there would eventually be a community. The inhabitants of the ISS aren’t considered lonely really, and it’s similar.

      I wonder to what extent personal compatibility is taken into account when making crew decisions. Do they interview each other and/or does NASA check to make sure they don’t all hate each other before shoving them all in that sardine can together? I imagine most of them are pretty good at compartmentalizing and regulating emotional distress when it comes to things like misophonia but is not chewing with your mouth open a mission critical skill? Do they have strictly regimented bathing schedules so no one gets too funky. I gotta know what they all hate about each other the most.

        I’m certain they have a few therapist following them. They probably only mix specific personality types together but I feel that goes out the window when mixing with folks from other countries.

        I wonder if they are forced to bath. Like you miss a day and you get a call from HQ.
