I think you’re missing the point of what they’re saying. Propoganda on China doesn’t start and end at “China may be preparing to invade Taiwan.”
It includes stuff like China being surveillance state, social credit, slaving population, Chinese Plague, etc. There is truth in all those things I said, but they’re also deflections of the fact that the US whiches pushes these narratives the most also has these issues to varying degrees.
We need to push back on China’s invasions of neighbors, all of them!
That said we can also acknowledge that China is the boogeyman that right parties use to heighten emotions within the general population and push the narrative that they are the right party to keep China in check. Meanwhile our own nation slips into xenophobic, nationalistic dictatorship.

I agree with what you’re saying here, my comment was really about highlighting why it’s impossible to take anything to the effect of “This is propaganda against China” seriously, since Chinese authorities will begin frothing at the mouth and calling you a racist xenophobic/sinophobic liar if you even insinuate that they’ve done any of the well documented things they’ve done.
If you say anything about surveillance, human rights violations, oppression, etc. you’ll immediately be met by “Baseless lies!” “Unfriendly nation!” and friends. The result is that whenever China denies something, I just end up more convinced that they’re guilty of what they were accused of.
